Guido van Rossum

Guido Van Rossum, born January 31st, 1956, graduated from University of Amsterdam in 1982. He is credited with creating the Python Programming language, used around the world for its readibility and ease when coding. He continued to work at Google and Dropbox.

Grace Hopper

Grace Hopper, born December 9th, 1906, graduated from multiple universities with degrees specializing in mathematics. Hopper went on to develop Common Business Oriented Language (COBOl). This was one of the first standardized computer languages, used for finance and business code. She also developed the first compiler code, A-0, which translated mathematical code into machine-reaable code. Hopper was essential in the creation of modern programming languages.

Tim Burnurs-Lee

Tim Berners-Lee is a British computer scientist best known for inventing the World Wide Web in 1989. His creation revolutionized the internet by allowing documents and media to be linked and accessed through a web browser. Berners-Lee also founded the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to standardize web protocols and ensure its growth.
